I’ll admit, I haven’t always been the biggest TOMS fan. A) I don’t think they’re all that flattering, and B) The one pair I bought (circa 2007 before they were huge) was the least comfortable shoe I have ever worn in my life. [Side note: Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I blame this on my annoyingly wide foot and not the quality of the product.] That being said, since their humble beginnings in Blake Mycoskie’s* apartment, they have recently developed several other styles that I think are really cute such as a wedge and a cap-toe ballet flat:
What do you think of these new TOMS styles? Do you think it’s a good thing or a bad thing that they’ve diverged so much from the original canvas slip-on that started the company?
*Random interesting fact: Blake, the guy who started TOMS, graduated from my high school and, although I never knew him personally, we have a ton of mutual friends!
