It is a fabulous week for flash sales, and now that Kate Spade has popped up on Gilt Groupe, I think I know where some of my graduation cash is being invested… Here are a few of the many items I’m loving from the collection!
It is a fabulous week for flash sales, and now that Kate Spade has popped up on Gilt Groupe, I think I know where some of my graduation cash is being invested… Here are a few of the many items I’m loving from the collection!
Lilly Pulitzer is featured on another Rue La La flash sale this week, and I think many of the items would make lovely graduation presents! I’m particularly swooning over the stationary and adorable desk sets :) What are your favorite items from the sale?
The new Kate Young for Target capsule collection launches on April 14th and I am really excited about a couple of these pieces so I thought I would share them with y’all! I’m especially loving the overall Mad Men vibe of the collection and am looking forward to seeing everything in stores on Monday.
What are your favorite pieces from the collection? Will you be heading to Target for any of these?
Since January, I’ve been going to a nearby power yoga studio three times a week and the physical and mental transformation I’ve experienced has been amazing! However, one thing I didn’t anticipate was how hard it would be to find workout clothes that were stylish, effective, and affordable. When Ellie offered to send me a workout outfit to review for being a Sumpto influencer, I couldn’t resist! One look at the website and I was obsessed. I sported the Raven Capri and Pitch Perfect Keyhole Tank to yoga class this week and I loved the extra length on the top to keep my tummy from showing, plus the built-in bra was perfect!

One really cool thing about Ellie is that it functions as both a typical online apparel store and a monthly subscription service. You can either purchase merchandise like normal, or for $49.95 per month you can select two clothing items with free shipping and no-hassle returns. Plus, you can cancel at any time! I think this new site is a great alternative to other existing options because I love the combination of fashion and affordability without sacrificing quality. Want to try Ellie out for yourself and get up to 40% off your first purchase? Sign up for Sumpto deals for free and claim your reward for up to 40% off today! This deal will only be available until 4/7/13 so hurry and try Ellie and Sumpto out for yourself!

See- no naked tummy! Plus that built-in bra is doin’ work!
Lilly Pulitzer’s back on Rue La La for the next 48 hours and I’m really tempted to stock up on some adorable spring dresses. Here are a few of the pieces I’m swooning over!
I’d say I have a problem but I don’t say anything negative about a Lilly addiction :) What are your favorite pieces from the flash sale? Continue reading
I picked this little number up over the weekend and am obsessed with the chic studs, warm coral color, and the perfect relaxed fit of the Studded Portofino Shirt. It’s already a steal at just $49.90 – $59.90, but use “9072″ code this week to get 15% off your whole purchase and free shipping! Also available in 16 other colors, I wish I could stock my closet with the entire rainbow!
I love all these high end designer/department store collabs, and the new Georgina Chapman “Pearl” line for JCPenny does not disappoint! Georgina Chapman is the face behind haute couture line Marchesa, and also the wife of Harvey Weinstein (you know, the one who produced Silver Linings Playbook.) With almost all of the capsule collection priced under $200, this is the perfect place to find a sweet cocktail dress for that upcoming wedding or formal! Here are my top picks from the release:
I love this delicate pink number with the statement-making one shoulder rosettes. This would be a perfect choice for a spring wedding! $70.
And last but certainly not least, I’m loving this long organza dress. I have no idea what sort of occassion it’s appropriate for, but the delicate rosettes are darling! $250.
Will you be shopping the Georgina Chapman Pearl for JCP line? What are your favorite pieces? Are you excited about any of the other great designer collabs going on right now?
Because I have been identified as an influential college student by Sumpto, I was selected to try Little Black Bag for free. I was not obligated in any way to write a review on my blog, but I loved it so much and was so impressed that I knew I had to share this amazing website with all of you! So what is Little Black Bag? It’s a kind of flash sale site (with a monthly subscription option too!) that features current season bags from designer brands like BCBGeneration and Badgley Mischka to Deux Lux and Steve Madden at up to 70% off retail. They also carry designer jewelry, beauty products, and home goods as well! The fun part is that after you select the item you want to buy, a personal stylist will select bonus merchandise between $25-$75 in value from the site to include with your purchase .

Your bonus items are revealed to you online as soon as the purchase is complete, and you have several days to decide whether you want to keep the items or swap them with other users on the site. I initially purchased the Izzy + Ali Michelle Bucket Bag and was gifted the Geranium Bambi Stud Earrings and the Jardin Oval Ring, but through a series of trades ended up swapping my items for the Olivia + Joy Dynamo Double Handle Satchel and the Flea Market Girl Peace Sign Necklace. New items are added to the site almost every day, so each night I would check back to see if I wanted to swap for a new item that I loved more. I am obsessed with the two things I ended up with and loved using Little Black Bag!
Want to try it out for yourself and get a special code for up to $100 in bonus merchandise? All you have to do is sign up with Sumpto. It’s easy and free, and you’ll have access to this deal until Feb. 10! Here are a few other bags I’m currently loving from Little Black Bag:

Koret Snake Charmer tote, originally $135.

Pink Cosmo Studded Satchel, originally $70.

Penny Sue Foldable Florence Tote, originally $89.
What are your favorite items on Little Black Bag right now? Have you ever tried the site? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I am loving the retro look of the Timex for J.Crew collaboration, but at the $150 – $195 price point, they’re a little hefty for something that I don’t want to wear all the time. Luckily, this season there is also a fabulous Timex capsule collection for Target called Mix it, Switch it, Love it that is way more in line for ladies on a budget! Compare the two lines below and share your opinion in the comments: would you save or splurge on this one??

Timex for Target Weekender Slip Through Watch in Olive, $34.99. (P.S. the straps are changeable and only cost $6.99 each!)

Timex Round Case Watch, $39.99. (P.S. this version also has changeable straps which are just $9.99 each!)
It’s really interesting to see how the collections are so similar. I love that Timex does different collaborations for people with varying budgets. What are your favorite pieces from the collections? Would you spend or save on these?
With all of the flash sale sites out there like Gilt Group, One Kings Lane, Sneakpeeq, and Haute Look, Rue La La is easily one of my favorites. They would make amazing gifts for your best girls, or just for yourself :) Signing up is easy and free, so go ahead! Here are a few of my top picks:

I’m obsessed with this watercooler coin and key pouch! It’s perfect for storing all the essentials and it’s only $9.90, originally $20. This would make a great stocking stuffer or secret santa gift!

The Summer Cottage XL Duffel is the perfect weekender or carry-on piece. My roommate has one and I am oh so jealous, might have to snag this one for myself… Only $49.90, originally $108!
These are some of the best prices I have seen for Vera Bradley in a LONG time. What are your favorite pieces?
