Because I have been identified as an influential college student by Sumpto, I was selected to try Little Black Bag for free. I was not obligated in any way to write a review on my blog, but I loved it so much and was so impressed that I knew I had to share this amazing website with all of you! So what is Little Black Bag? It’s a kind of flash sale site (with a monthly subscription option too!) that features current season bags from designer brands like BCBGeneration and Badgley Mischka to Deux Lux and Steve Madden at up to 70% off retail. They also carry designer jewelry, beauty products, and home goods as well! The fun part is that after you select the item you want to buy, a personal stylist will select bonus merchandise between $25-$75 in value from the site to include with your purchase .
Your bonus items are revealed to you online as soon as the purchase is complete, and you have several days to decide whether you want to keep the items or swap them with other users on the site. I initially purchased the Izzy + Ali Michelle Bucket Bag and was gifted the Geranium Bambi Stud Earrings and the Jardin Oval Ring, but through a series of trades ended up swapping my items for the Olivia + Joy Dynamo Double Handle Satchel and the Flea Market Girl Peace Sign Necklace. New items are added to the site almost every day, so each night I would check back to see if I wanted to swap for a new item that I loved more. I am obsessed with the two things I ended up with and loved using Little Black Bag!
Want to try it out for yourself and get a special code for up to $100 in bonus merchandise? All you have to do is sign up with Sumpto. It’s easy and free, and you’ll have access to this deal until Feb. 10! Here are a few other bags I’m currently loving from Little Black Bag:
Koret Snake Charmer tote, originally $135.
Pink Cosmo Studded Satchel, originally $70.
Penny Sue Foldable Florence Tote, originally $89.
What are your favorite items on Little Black Bag right now? Have you ever tried the site? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
It’s been 6 weeks since I last posted and so much has happened since then. I have so much to share! In December, I traveled to Ft.Worth for a much needed girls weekend with my best friend Cassie (check out her adorable blog here), was visited by my pledge sister Leanna for a whirlwind few days in Austin, spent some qt with the fambam, and went to Vail for new year’s with some college friends. Since coming back for my last semester of college, I have been committing myself to power yoga and making some postgrad plans for summer and the real world! Oh and toss in a few concerts here and there. Here are some pics while we play catch up :)
Got into some trouble with the bestie :)
Went to Trail of Lights and sampled some food trucks in Austin with Leanna
Spent time with Grandpa and celebrated Mom and Dad’s 40th anniversary!
Spent a week in Vail at my friend’s beautiful vacation home. This gorgeous view greeted us everyday and I loved playing in the snow, going sledding, and tubing!
Friends enjoying sushi at Sato in Edwards, CO :)
Went to see Slightly Stoopid with my roommate Hayley!
Lastly this month I went to see my friends’ band perform at a club downtown and they were awesome! They’re even opening for Radical Something in a few weeks, check them out here: Autumn in Analog.
I’m so excited to get back to blogging and share my life with you… exciting things coming up, including spending the summer abroad :) Thanks for sticking with me y’all.

I am loving the retro look of the Timex for J.Crew collaboration, but at the $150 – $195 price point, they’re a little hefty for something that I don’t want to wear all the time. Luckily, this season there is also a fabulous Timex capsule collection for Target called Mix it, Switch it, Love it that is way more in line for ladies on a budget! Compare the two lines below and share your opinion in the comments: would you save or splurge on this one??
Timex for J.Crew Vintage Field Army Watch, $150.
Timex for Target Weekender Slip Through Watch in Olive, $34.99. (P.S. the straps are changeable and only cost $6.99 each!)
Timex for J.Crew 1600 Watch, $195.
Timex Round Case Watch, $39.99. (P.S. this version also has changeable straps which are just $9.99 each!)
It’s really interesting to see how the collections are so similar. I love that Timex does different collaborations for people with varying budgets. What are your favorite pieces from the collections? Would you spend or save on these?

I am so excited to announce a fabulous product review and giveaway this week courtesy of Pea Pod Paper and Gifts! When Susan offered to send me the Corkcicle, I was so excited. Not only was it featured in O Magazine’s Oprah’s Favorite Things this year, but it also is the perfect accessory for one of my favorite things – wine. This item would make a cute stocking stuffer and is the perfect present for literally everyone on your holiday list this year! I was ecstatic when I saw that Susan sent me a pink one, but they come in every color of the rainbow :) The corkcicle is a wine stopper and cooler all in one. You put it in the freezer, and then place it inside an open bottle of wine so that it stays perfectly chilled while you take your time enjoying. I absolutely loved it and definitely would recommend it to all, and now you have the opportunity to win one of your very own! Simply follow this link to enter the giveaway through Rafflecopter! The giveaway will be open until next Friday, December 14th. The winner will be announced next weekend.
I’m obsessed with the bright colors and eclectic patterns on these bags from LoveBirdsLA! I can just envision filling them with toiletries for a fun trip, or keeping special jewelry in them. They would also really liven up an outfit for a night out!
Kavi clutch, $72
Riviera Clutch, $62
Maya Tapestry Clutch, $55
Acarapi Clutch, $58
What do you think of this trend? Would you mix colors and prints like this? How would you style them? I would love to know!
I have a bit of a weak spot for cute little bags, and these beautifully colored ikat cosmetic pouches from Patch NYC are adorable! I especially love the little skull on the zipper :) I think these would make an adorable stocking stuffer or a cute gift all on its own. Which color is your favorite? $46.
I’ve professed my undying love for Dixieland Monogram time and again (here and here), but now there’s one more reason to fall in love with this online monogram heaven! The adorable Erinn has posted tons of amazing discounts and deals to celebrate “Cyber Monday” and help you find the perfect personalized gift for everyone on your holiday shopping list! All sales go live at 9am EST, and for every $100 you spend you get a $25 gift card. (Isn’t it better to give and receive?) Bonus present: the first 50 orders get a free Emijay hair tie included, which would make a perfect stocking stuffer! Here are just a few of the amazing discounts you’ll be able to find today:
Typically $32, these are reduced to $21 and come in every color combination imaginable!
All “TOSS” brand items will be 30% off, meaning that this stylish chevron duffel bag will only be $19.60!
Monogrammed Fleece Full Zips in countless color combos will be down to $31.99 from $45. What a unique and personal gift to give :)
Will you be shopping Cyber Monday? What stores are on your must list? What is your go to gift going to be this holiday season?? I’m in the midst of all of my present-planning and am in need of some inspiration!
I was roaming the aisles of Target the other day when something new caught my eye. I was looking for a new body wash to try when I spotted Güd products, a new line by Burt’s Bees brand. They all smelled wonderful, but I went home with the Vanilla and Rice Milk body wash and am absolutely in love! Not only is my skin the softest it’s ever been, but I love that it is made of all natural ingredients with no petro chemicals, or artificial dyes or fragrances. If you “like” them on Facebook this week, you can even get a $1 off coupon so that you can try them out too! So far my impression of this new line is fabulous and I can’t wait to try out more of their products. Have you tried any of the Güd products? What did you think? Which flavor is your favorite?
